I’ve met some very cool people through this podcast. Typically, I’m inspired to have them on the show because of their work or the message they are pushing out to the world.
I’ll see their TED talk, or read one of their powerful blog posts, or hear them in an inspiring interview. Something like that.
My guest today impressed me for a totally different reason.
I met Matt Giovanisci through Facebook.
He posted a link to a webpage he created with the sole purpose of getting himself booked on podcasts.
I thought it was incredibly creative. Check it out here: http://www.moneylab.co/guest/
He made this web page, loaded it with tons of unique and funny information about why he'd make a great podcast guest, and put his contact info
I loved his approach and humor, and thought "What the heck? I have him on the show". And that's what happened!
Matt makes a living by being creative online. He's hosted a few podcasts, created some profitable online brands, produced some hilarious rap videos, and overall has been able to turn his passions into revenue streams that allow him to LIVE THE DREAM.
Matt and I talk about creativity, being original, and going against the herd.
